Human judgement.
Artificial scale. Managed performance.

The question is not whether to use AI. It is which parts of a process should be automated, which must stay human, and who decides.

Two strengths, one process.

Automation and people are good at different things. The operating model is built around the difference.

Human judgement

Process design, domain decisions, exceptions and anything consequential.

AI and infrastructure

Repeatable execution, scale, consistency and full case coverage.

Shared boundary

Defined escalation rules decide which cases leave the automated path.

Continuous learning with controls

The process improves only through approved, measured change.

Who owns what at the boundary.

Escalation is designed, not improvised. A case reaches a person with context, or it does not leave the automated path.

Automated by default

  • Repeatable contact and information capture
  • Routine status updates
  • Defined qualification steps
  • Standard reminders and confirmations

Human by design

  • Consequential decisions
  • Clinical or economic treatment
  • Sensitive or escalated cases
  • Complaints and exceptions

Shared

  • Escalation rules
  • Quality thresholds
  • Approved content and scenarios

Handled by the process

  • Repeatable, rule-based contact
  • Information capture and status updates
Escalate

Left to people

  • Consequential decisions
  • Sensitive or exceptional cases

Learning is allowed. Drift is not.

A process may improve over time, but only through change that is proposed, approved and measured.

Vee does not run a self-modifying system in production. Models, prompts, scenarios and content are versioned, and a change is released only after approval.

That keeps the operation explainable: every result can be tied to the process version that produced it.

Controls on change

  1. 01Versioned scenarios and models
  2. 02Approval before release
  3. 03Recorded change history
  4. 04Revert to a known-good state

What this looks like in practice.

Three examples of the same boundary in different processes.

Collections

Automated early contact and commitment capture; human ownership of any treatment decision.

Healthcare appointments

Automated confirmation and rescheduling; clinical priority stays with care teams.

Sales qualification

Automated reach and qualification; advisors take qualified, contextualised opportunities.

Where to go next.

The human and AI boundary connects to the operating model, to control and to the processes themselves.

Draw the boundary before you scale.

We will map which parts of your process stay human and which move to Vee.
